  • I think the word "changed" should of been a much stronger word such as "charred".
  • I like how they compare the hose to that of a python.
  • The author is using good metaphors and personifications.

  • Is the symbols of the salamander and the Phoenix disc part of a firemen cult?
  • Could the setting me in arizona since Phoeniz is the capital, and there are alot of salamanders there?

  • Why is the color white mentioned so many times?
