  • There is a physical battle between Montag and Beatty.
  • Montag was wondering whether or not he should commit murder by killing beatty.
  • He then set beatty on fire.
  • The way the book described how beatty looked while he was set on fire must have been pretty graphic for montag to do all he can to not look at the carcus.
  • Now Montag is running things round there.

  • Where is the police when all this was happening?
  • Why didnt the other firemen do nothing?
  • Is the red salamander the red fire truck?
  • Is he trying to get rid of the old society and create a new one by burning everything that had to do with the firehouse?
